Our mission is to educate and create spaces for young people to be politically active towards Canada's democracy.
The UNBC Political Science Student Association (PSSA) is a student-led, non-partisan organization with the mandate to depolarize students by uniting people across ideological, cultural, and academic differences for the cause of a better future (Project 2026).
Dangerous Ideas is a program to create spaces for important community convos and think about what’s next for Canada and beyond! They are the primary mechanism for Creating a Culture of Democracy on the ground.
Following the tradition, we will convene a high-level assembly of regional power brokers—including federal MPs, provincial MLAs, the City Council of Prince George, and the leadership of the Lheidli T’enneh First Nation. This is a space where students directly engage with political and institutional executives.
