The UNBC Political Science Student Association (PSSA) no longer accepts the status quo of a passive, social-only campus presence. Today, the foundational principles of our democratic life—dialogue, dissent, and mutual respect—are under siege by a culture of polarization and ideological isolation.
Our mission in 2026 is clear: Creating a Culture of Democracy.
This is not a suggestion; it is a mandate. Under this new leadership, the PSSA is being reconstituted as a student-driven movement. We will move beyond the "club" model to build a robust political ecosystem grounded in the belief that democracy is not merely a system of voting, but a way of living and thinking together. We seek to unite students across the ideological spectrum for the sole purpose of a better, more reasoned future.
Under the new executive leadership, the PSSA will shift from a passive, social club into a dynamic student-driven political movement grounded in dialogue, integrity, and future-oriented collective action.
Our objective is not simply to host events, but to build a culture:
where disagreement is safe
where ideas are debated honestly
where political courage is encouraged
where youth voices carry weight
and where the future feels worth fighting for
Project 2026 marks a turning point in the history of the UNBC PSSA.
This plan is more than a schedule — it is a political philosophy, a community blueprint, and a generational project. Under this presidency, the PSSA is committed to:
Restoring democratic dialogue
Empowering youth voices
Depolarizing political culture
Building a movement for a better future
This Strategic Plan is the foundation.
The community we build will be the legacy.
